Project Overview.
Tomaers Consultancy provided tunnel ventilation and fire safety engineering for Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line), the city's first fully underground metro corridor stretching from Colaba to SEEPZ. The project involved aerodynamic modelling of piston effects, design of tunnel ventilation and environmental control systems, and fire life safety strategies for deep underground stations. Our team addressed the challenges of high-density passenger flows and tropical climate conditions unique to Mumbai's metro network.
