Project Overview.
Tomaers Consultancy engineered the ventilation system design for the Nordhavn Tunnel, an immersed tube road tunnel connecting the Nordhavn district to the wider Copenhagen motorway network in Denmark. The project required detailed longitudinal and transverse ventilation analysis, fire scenario modelling within submerged tunnel elements, and integration with the city's intelligent transport management systems. Our design ensured safe egress conditions and tenable environments during both normal operations and fire emergencies.
